First Ascent Series
Presented by Summit Fine Arts Academy
The first step towards Music Performance at Summit Fine Arts Academy
This 6-week course is designed for young singers who love music, want to grow in confidence, musicianship, and experience the art of performing! Students will be immersed in the art of singing, musicianship, and performing — finishing with a big performance at the end of 6 weeks.
Program Details
- 📅Dates: April 13 – May 18, 2025
- ⏰Schedule: Mondays, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- 🎵Ages: 9–14 years old
- ✅No audition required — all experience levels welcome

- 📍Location: Teeland Middle School, Wasilla
- 👕Shirt included with registration
- 🎤Final performance concert at end of session
- 🏆Directed by Ashley Easton, Award-Winning Choral Director

Ashley Easton is a passionate music educator and choir teacher at Chugiak High School. With years of experience inspiring young musicians, Ashley founded Summit Fine Arts Academy to expand quality arts education opportunities in the Mat-Su Valley.
Her commitment to nurturing creativity and building confidence through the arts drives everything we do at Summit.
